The process of Tzimtzum is a contraction of the divine which allows the physical to exist, with all of its bullshit. Malchus, being the last stage of the Tzimtzumic process, is the Sefirah (cabalistic attribute) furthest removed from the source of the divine. Redemption is a reversal of the Tzimtzumic process in order to create a Diroh Lo Yisborech Batachthonim (a dwelling place for his blessedness below), beginning with a negation of Malchus (Kingship, the feminine attribute); destroying it on all planes of existence, physical as well as metaphysical.
