we’re fucking animals

yitzchak,
we’re definitely on for thursday. chairman of the board is still
psyched. no complaints about cleanliness (thanks so much for that!),
but we did get one pretty serious complaint from a next-door neighbor.
apparently two of the chulent-goers passed out on her front stoop. she
couldn’t wake or move them, and eventually had to call the cops to
remove them. i also actually had to do a little too much work to get a
guy to wake up and leave. he was resisting and being somewhat
antagonistic. i think we need to have a rule (an understanding?) that
a) everyone needs to be out of the building by 5, and b) out means not
only out of the physical building, but at a significant distance.
another complaint was that people were smoking pot out front. can we
have people go somewhere else to smoke, so that it’s not so directly
associated with the shul?
